Intelligent Chiller Energy Efficiency Control System

In most buildings with centralized chiller air-conditioning systems, the electrical consumption attributable by this system can be as high as 60% of the total electricity consumption for the entire building.

iCEE Control System is capable of saving up to 20% from the chiller’s electrical energy consumption. The iCEE Control System uses engineering principles and optimization formulation to achieve true and tangible energy savings for clients.

iCEE Control System is designed to reduce the energy usage of these chillers while maintaining the internal thermal comfort of the occupants in the building.

iCEE Control system is compatible with all air and water cooled chillers, running on centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating compressors.

iCEE Control System determines the actual building’s or facility’s heat load by placing Relative Humidity (RH) and Temperature sensors located strategically at the external and internal area of the building together with Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) in the chilled water and condenser water piping system of the chillers.



Chiller Energy Management System (iCEE)

iCEE Control System is developed to lower the energy usage of chillers while maintaining the internal comfort of the building.

The method utilized by iCEE Control System to determine the actual building or facility heat load are to place Relative Humidity (RH) sensors which are located strategically at the external and internal part of the building and also Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) sensors (PT100) in the chilled and condenser water system of the chillers.

For real-time power analysis, the iCEE Control System utilizes digital smart power meters. These data are acquired real-time, at 10 seconds intervals. iCEE Engineering uses the Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) and an engineering base programming platform running on an industrial PC to acquire the real-time input signals directly from all sensors and the smart power meters and process the signals and converts these signal to logical data. These data inputs are then processed through the following iCEE patent pending software programs to analyze and provide new operating instructions to the chiller
